Pellston and Cross Village Michigan Restaurants

Legs Inn Restaurant is a historic and one of the most unique northern Michigan restaurants.

#1. Cross Village, Michigan – Legs Inn. If you are heading towards Harbor Springs or Petoskey on the historic Tunnel of Trees route you must stop at this restaurant! It’s great food especially if you enjoy Polish dishes. They also have terrific hamburgers and white fish. The outdoor terrace on the lawn is absolutely relaxing with the blue sky of Michigan touching the Lake Michigan water. Your cares will just drift away while you are enjoying your lunch or your dinner. Take a sweater if going in the evening for there can be a chill in the air off the lake.

#2. Pellston – Dam Site Inn. When you pass the bar in this restaurant you will think that maybe Frank Sinatra might be in the next room…the decor has not changed since they built this super dining place and it’s totally worth dining here. The fried chicken is awesome…! It’s family dining so enjoy. Make reservations for every all American Northern Michigan family eats there at least once in the summer! It’s off US-31 at 6705 Woodland Rd. 231-539-8588

Scrumptious steaks and ribs at the Douglas Lake Bar and Steakhouse.

#3. Pellston – Douglas Lake Steakhouse. Two fireplaces and great food makes this a popular place to dine. It’s overlooking Douglas Lake. Their specialties are big steaks, whitefish (of course), yummy ribs and lamb. Douglas Lake Road is just east of Pellston’s Airport. Reservations are recommended on the weekends! Weather permitting they have live music on the lawn in the summer. 7314 Douglas Lake Road. 231-539-8588.
